The South African Business Club promotes business opportunities
between companies and individuals by providing a networking
framework for South African business people living and working in
the UK. The Club enables South Africans and those with South
African connections to meet like-minded individuals and to target
their energy and resources at the on-going development of the
business communities in South Africa and the UK. This is the focus
of all its online and offline activities, and those of its members,
subscribers, website users, and event attendees.

to all users, conditional to your acceptance of these Terms &
Conditions. Your use of this Web site constitutes your agreement to
these Terms & Conditions. Our Terms and Conditions are subject
to change without notice.
Membership of the South African Business
Club
Membership of The South African Business Club is open to all
companies and individuals. Anyone can apply to for membership. The
SA Business Club reserves the right to deny or cancel membership,
access to its events or online facilities should you be deemed not
suitable for membership. No explanation needs to be given.
Any individual, company or its representatives acting in a
manner not conducive to the aims of the SA Business Club can have
their membership suspended or rescinded at the discretion of the SA
Business Club. Such activities include non-payment of fees,
spamming members via email, posting of lewd or inappropriate
content online or aggressive promotion, promotion of other networks
to the detriment of the SA Business Club, especially where such
promotion is by a person with a rewarded position within another
network can lead to suspension or membership cancellation. In such
circumstances, no refund of fees will be made.
Members pay an annual subscription fee in return for benefits
such as events, reduced entry to certain events and at the
discretion of the SA Business Club, free entry into the online
directory and other services designed to increase business
marketing opportunities for each of its members.
The SA Business Club Membership fee is charged annually and is
liable on the day of the start of membership and then on the day of
annual renewal. Membership will only start before payment is
received at the discretion of The SA Business Club and on the
understanding that the terms of membership including payment have
been understood and accepted.
Failure to pay for company membership will lead to a suspension
of membership. The SA Business Club will pursue full annual payment
and will only re-activate the membership once the annual payment is
received in full, the annual membership fee, once agreed and made,
cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Renewal membership payments will be notified by invoice and
email. Payment must be made before the end of the current annual
membership date. In such cases where payment is not received before
the end of current membership, membership will be suspended pending
settlement.
Membership of The SA Business Club usually means free entry into
that current year's Business Directory providing the member
payments are up-to-date and current. Production of the Directory is
discretionary. Inclusion in the Directory is also at the SA
Business Club's discretion, is outside of annual membership fees
levied, and is subject to certain date of membership
restrictions.
Privacy
All personal and corporate information is only used by The SA
Business Club for its own business purposes. We act in accordance
with UK Data Law and will not pass on your details to third
parties.
From time to time, The SA Business Club work with agencies which
provide additional business services, such as support, training or
access to finance. In such cases, these other agencies will be
providing services that we believe you will find useful and are
themselves usually members of The SA Business Club. They will not
have access to your data.
Advertisers
Dealings with any partners, associates or advertisers are
entirely between you and the company directly.
Event bookings
All individuals, companies and their representatives must book
ahead of the event they wish to attend. Prior booking is a
prerequisite of admittance. Where no booking is made, entry cannot
be guaranteed. In circumstances where no booking has been received,
The SA Business Club can only permit entry subject to the host
venue's agreement with The SA Business Club and is permitted
subject to full payment being received within 24 hours.
The SA Business Club reserves the right to pursue non-paying
individuals' or companies for payments due. Members can be
suspended for non-payment of due event fees until such time as the
amount due is settled.
All bookings must be made through our online booking system or
by email. A place is reserved for three days pending payment when
the booking is accepted as confirmed. Payment is confirmation of
attendance.
Cancellations and refunds are only accepted when made at least
24 hours before the event* and where cancellations are allowed at
the venue. In such circumstances, we will attempt to offer a full
refund or transfer the booking to another event of the booking
company's or individual's choice. All refunds and transfers are at
the discretion of The SA Business Club.
All data collected when booking is subject to our Privacy terms
above. We do not keep or store any card details when these are used
for bookings.
External links
The SA Business Club has no control over external sites and
their site advertisers and accepts no responsibilities over
external sites, content, products or services.
Cancelling membership
At the end of each membership year, every member will be invited
to renew their membership. At the start of the New Year's
membership, all benefits of membership shall remain provided
payments for the previous and current year are in order. The office
will notify the member business of any arrears.
Those members choosing to leave The SA Business Club should
inform the office of their decision before the end of that current
year's membership. Benefits of membership will be removed on the
last date of that year's membership including event attendance,
online directory listing, Alerts subscriptions and any other
benefits of membership available at the time of cancellation.
In order for these benefits to be reinstated, membership must be
reactivated and due fees made. The SA Business Club will inform
each company or individual of their status and fees due.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless , The SA Business Club
its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any
claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable
legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of
any online content, services, or your breach of the terms of these
Terms and Conditions.
